Adobe illustrator is an art tool, like Photoshop except it uses vector, which means that everything is just number, so you can zoom and enhance all that you like. I'm not good at Illustrator, i will be the first to admit that, but I do know how to use some of the tools. First there is the select tool and the direct select tool. the select tool lets you select something so you can edit it or move it, you can select multiple items with this tool, the direct select tool is kinda the same thing, but you select specific points of whatever your selecting. Then there is the shape tool, it creates shapes. that's kinda it, but the shape builder tool lets you combine and take parts out of shapes to create totally new ones. Finally (of the tools I know) there is the pen tool, this tool lets you create lines but they connect together to form shapes, you can also bend the lines but that's kinda complicated so I won't talk about it. whit a combination of these tools and more, you can make practically any kind of art.

As of starting digital design and animation this quarter I've learned some things about the class. it's fast as in we start a new section every week, but not insanely fast where you fall so far behind that you will never ever ever catch up, ever, and it's hard and unforgiving, especially grammar and spelling, I mean this is a digital design class! I get that when we need to code we need to get everything right but, all i'm saying is it's a bit unforgiving. I should know, because i have not done so well on the quizzes/tests and it's my fault for forgetting to study and retry them at home, but I think I'm doing well in the Photoshop portions of the class like our new project I think looks cool, and I haven't even put myself in there yet! No spoilers.
Lets recap, shall we?
